About the Role

Industrial Refrigeration Pros is looking for Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our team. The technician role is primarily responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. We specialize in the engineering, design, installation, and service of industrial ammonia and freon refrigeration and air conditioning.

Responsibilities

  • Install, trouble shoot, repair and calibrate industrial refrigeration units
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Observe additional maintenance needs requiring attention and report those to the appropriate supervisor
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills, ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician
  • Must have experience working with ammonia
  • Requires standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements requiring full range of motion
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • RETA Certification (a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be comfortable with and confident working at heights up-to 40 feet above ground level and using extension ladders
