Compressor Lubricants Include:
AZ 717
AZ 717 is 2-stage hydrocracked ammonia refrigeration lubricant. This lubricant is an enhanced version of the technology used by most OEMs. It offers reduced solubility with ammonia, less oil carryover, and better pumpability even under extremely low-temperature conditions. AZ 717 is also completely top-off compatible with most common paraffinics, naphthenics, alkylbenzenes, PAOs, and single-stage hydrocracked products. Recommended Evaporator Temperature is -49F (-45C).
AZ 744 FG-68
AZ 744 FG-68 combines low-temperature fluidity with superior lubrication. Formulated specifically for carbon dioxide compressors, AZ 744 FG-68 meets H1 requirements for applications where incidental food contact is possible.
AZ 717 XLT
AZ 717 XLT is formulated for lower viscosities for extremely cold evaporator temperatures to ensure the lubricant remains mobile and easily pumpable. Recommended Evaporator Temperature is -65F (-54C).
AZ 744 is formulated specifically for use in carbon dioxide refrigeration systems. Its advanced formulation provides superior miscibility and lubricity in high-pressure carbon dioxide systems. AZ 744 also offers excellent chemical and thermal stability, low-temperature fluidity and a very long service life.
AZ 717-FG
AZ 717-FG offers exceptional oxidative resistance as well as enhanced chemical and thermal stability. This translates into longer oil life, less sludge and varnish, and better protection of compressor parts. AZ 717-FG complies with H1 requirements for lubricants with incidental food contact. Recommended evaporator temperature is -49F (-45C).
AZ 717-LT (HE)
AZ 717-LT (HE) is a high-efficiency ammonia refrigeration compressor fluid specifically designed to lower energy consumption in compressors. This formulation utilizes the next generation of 2-stage hydrocracked base stocks and advanced additives to ensure outstanding performance and fluid life. It offers reduced lubricant carryover, improved low-temperature fluidity for better evaporator draining, and can help to reduce compressor energy consumption by up to 1.5%. AZ 717-LT continues to be effective at temperatures beyond -51°C (-60°F), long after competitive fluids have stopped flowing efficiently. AZ 717-LT’s lower viscosities at these cold evaporator temperatures help ensure the lubricant remains mobile and easily pumpable, reducing the energy required to operate the compressor. Recommended evaporator temperature is -51F (-46C).
AZ 717-SC
AZ 717-SC is a seal-conditioning formulation from among our group of products. This fluid is an enhanced version of the technology used by most OEMs. It offers reduced solubility with ammonia, less oil carryover, and better pumpability even under extremely low-temperature conditions. This oil helps stop and prevent leaks by conditioning and restoring hardened seals, O-rings and elastomers. AZ 717-SC is also completely top-off compatible with most normal paraffinics, naphthenics, alkylbenzenes, PAOs, and single-stage hydrocracked products. Recommended Evaporator Temperature is -49F (-45C).
AZ POE
AZ POE Oils are a polyol ester (POE) lubricant that provides unsurpassed performance in HFC refrigeration applications. This advanced formulation provides superior protection for HFC refrigeration systems, exceptional chemical and thermal stability, and a very long service life.
AZ ABR
AZ ABR Oils combines 100% synthetic base fluids with an advanced-technology additive system. This offers optimized solubility in CFC, HCFC and blended refrigeration systems, superior chemical and thermal stability, and a very long oil life.
AZ MIN
AZ MIN Oils are made from premium base stocks and offer optimized solubility in CFC, HCFC and blended refrigerants. AZ MIN Oils offer exceptional chemical and thermal stability and provides a very long service life.
AZ APL
AZ APL is formulated specifically for ammonia liquid transfer pumps. AZ APL optimizes low solubility in ammonia with superior lubricity, low-temperature fluidity and excellent resistance to emulsification. AZ APL is recommended for pump temperatures of 32°F (0°C) or higher.
AZ APL-LT
AZ APL-LT is formulated specifically for ammonia liquid transfer pumps. NXT APL-LT is for use in extremely low-temperature applications. NXT APL-LT has superior rust and corrosion additives to protect system parts.
